Day 2 in the field Boreal Rainforest

Half day of rain just to get the right feeling
Flatanger (Stordalen , Vikvatnet, Nordstraumen)

Oceanic boreal rain forest in the background and cows on "irish" green



Degelia plumbea named after Gunnar Degelius which together with Sten Ahlner were much interested in oceanic lichens
Dale Nature Reserve at Stordalen. Rainy introduction so no pictures until after a while.

Rinodrina disjuncta was shown at the entrance of the park. (This lichen is described by Tor Tønsberg)

Ramalina thrausta
Was rather common in the area where Håkon grow up as a young boy. We found it in one tree (known before) Dale Nature reserv, Stordalen

and are there more lichens then Parmelia serrana that has marignal isidia like the one in the upper left corner??
